In your video clip or cover letter please explain:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>your achievements to date<\/li>\n<li>the marketing tools or software that you can use<\/li>\n<li>the sectors that you have worked in or are interested in<\/li>\n<li>how you have developed a creative campaign and the results or if you haven\u2019t, how you would approach it<\/li>\n<li>how you have delivered press coverage or if you haven\u2019t, how you would approach it<\/li>\n<li>a great content marketing project and how this has increased reach and engagement or if you haven\u2019t, how you would approach it<\/li>\n<li>what it is that you want to achieve<\/li>\n<li>why PR, creativity, and content communications is your passion<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Those shortlisted for interview will be asked to write a press release about one of our clients and together with supporting social media posts on the same topic.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What the job role will deliver:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Contributing ideas, hooks, and experiences for creative campaigns<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to creation and executive of PR and\/or digital marketing campaigns<\/li>\n<li>Supporting the project leader in the delivery of campaigns and ongoing projects<\/li>\n<li>Creating, producing, and delivering a raft of written content with the target audience and SEO in mind. This includes:<\/li>\n<li>Press releases (within that style and hook to make journalists and reporters run the story)<\/li>\n<li>Web releases (to engage online readers\/visitors)<\/li>\n<li>Blogs<\/li>\n<li>Comment pieces<\/li>\n<li>Thought leadership articles<\/li>\n<li>Compiling media and PR lists for each project with accuracy and keeping these up-to-date<\/li>\n<li>Researching and creating feature lists for target publications and keeping them up-to-date<\/li>\n<li>Being able to pitch in stories, figureheads, and campaigns, understanding what the editor or producer needs<\/li>\n<li>Taking initiative and seeking out PR opportunities to gain reach for our clients \u2013 and ourselves \u2013 that are not part of your \u2018task list\u2019<\/li>\n<li>Understanding SEO and keywords \u2013 how they can increase reach<\/li>\n<li>Producing monthly PR, web, and digital analytics with interpretation and recommendation<\/li>\n<li>Understanding and use of visual content (images, graphics, infographics, video, animation) with creative input and direction with a target audience in mind, contributing these to your projects<\/li>\n<li>Production of social content that works to the nuances of each channel, the project and intended target audience that increases reach and engagement, and running social media accounts<\/li>\n<li>Creating email and direct digital marketing campaigns that deliver reach and engagement<\/li>\n<li>Development of marketing\/web automation for clients<\/li>\n<li>Understanding how social channels and digital platforms work and are changing<\/li>\n<li>Conducting interviews for testimonials, interesting articles and case studies<\/li>\n<li>Developing brand stories and identities<\/li>\n<li>At times, selling into the press and developing those key relationships<\/li>\n<li>Attending networking events (but getting other time off if it is an early or late one!)<\/li>\n<li>Contribution to our own PR, website, and social stuff, and contributing your say in what we should do next<\/li>\n<li>Regular attendance of PR and digital marketing sessions run by third parties to improve your expertise<\/li>\n<li>Creating weekly OggaDoon content piece<\/li>\n<li>Creating monthly OggaDoon client newsletter<\/li>\n<li>Creating news alerts for each project you are delivering<\/li>\n<li>Get immersed in clients\u2019 sector, reading round, following trends etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You will:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Have a keen understanding of digital skills and requirements<\/li>\n<li>Have a keen understanding of PR and content marketing skills<\/li>\n<li>Be comfortable with technical language and phrasing<\/li>\n<li>Be adaptable according to the project and client<\/li>\n<li>Have an eye for detail \u2013 and your grammar, punctuation, and sentence construction is exemplary<\/li>\n<li>Understand what \u2018client ready\u2019 means<\/li>\n<li>Deliver to time and budget<\/li>\n<li>Manage your time to fit with the requirements of projects<\/li>\n<li>Be creative and understand what reach can deliver<\/li>\n<li>Be a proficient and prolific writer in a range of styles and tones<\/li>\n<li>Understanding the different audiences that technical writing is created for<\/li>\n<li>Not be afraid to use creative thinking<\/li>\n<li>Have a thorough understanding of social media platforms and how to use them<\/li>\n<li>Be organised and a self-starter<\/li>\n<li>Have a passion for promoting brands that do good<\/li>\n<li>Employ initiative \u2013 and common sense of when to stop and collaborate with the team<\/li>\n<li>Be suited to flexible working<\/li>\n<li>Be great at interpreting analytics<\/li>\n<li>Be on top of your game and be keen to learn more<\/li>\n<li>BE PASSIONATE ABOUT COMMUNICATIONS<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>PR &amp; Content Executive (Salary 18-22K DOE) We are on [&hellip;]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":17350,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[7,188],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-15869","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-blog","category-client-news"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v19.14 - https:\/\/yoast.com\/wordpress\/plugins\/seo\/ -->\n<title>PR &amp; Content Executive (Salary 18-22K DOE) - OggaDoon<\/title>\n<meta name=\"description\" content=\"PR &amp; Content Executive (Salary 18-22K DOE)We are on the hunt for a superb, professional, charismatic and enthusiastic PR &amp; Content Executive.At OggaDoon, we specialise in guerrilla communications which means we do things differently.
