Objective

Our client Ssassy Property’s Springfield Meadows development comprises 25 sustainable homes, made from eco materials and with biodiversity in mind. The development offers early buyers a chance to design their homes and add extra sustainable fitting and features. But how could Ssassy spread the word not just to local buyers, but to buyers looking for sustainable properties across the country?

That’s where we came in, helping to build Ssassy’s reputation in the press with an aim to score extensive media coverage.

Results

Ssassy Property’s Springfield Meadows development in Oxfordshire stole UK headlines as ‘The UK’s most sustainable housing development’. They were the subject of articles in The Mail Online, The Metro, The Sun, and The Daily Star and more for their exemplary commitment to being green with zero carbon construction and eco-friendly features; and we placed them there.

In just one month we secured 10 pieces of media coverage which was read by 94.5 million readers, and led to a 74% increase in Ssassy’s website traffic.

Challenges

The challenge with securing press coverage is that it’s never promised. But with an offer as enticing as Springfield Meadows – the UK’s most sustainable housing development – getting journalists interested became easier. Prior to the launch we worked on social media presence, blogging, and award bids to increase the brand’s reputation, leading to greater interest when the properties came on the market.

Strategy

We knew Ssassy Property and Greencore Construction’s eco housing development in Oxfordshire was deserving of press attention, so we attracted local, national, and industry press hooking them in with some of the development’s top headlines and most impressive stats.

The media storm started with an interview with Director Ian Pritchett for the Oxford Times. The interview was about how Ssassy Property, together with Greencore Construction, minimised carbon emissions during the construction of the 25 homes at Springfield Meadows.

Take a look at the original Interview with Ian here. At OggaDoon we know how to land national press that delivers tangible results, Ssassy’s press success is a testament to that.
