The challenge with securing press coverage is that it’s never promised. But with an offer as enticing as Springfield Meadows – the UK’s most sustainable housing development – getting journalists interested became easier. Prior to the launch we worked on social media presence, blogging, and award bids to increase the brand’s reputation, leading to greater interest when the properties came on the market.
Strategy
We knew Ssassy Property and Greencore Construction’s eco housing development in Oxfordshire was deserving of press attention, so we attracted local, national, and industry press hooking them in with some of the development’s top headlines and most impressive stats.
The media storm started with an interview with Director Ian Pritchett for the Oxford Times. The interview was about how Ssassy Property, together with Greencore Construction, minimised carbon emissions during the construction of the 25 homes at Springfield Meadows.
